How We Give Back

This Year: Conservation Club

Alright, so — every year we take a real chunk of what Prosper makes and give it to good causes. Not a "round up your total by a nickel" chunk. An actual chunk. On purpose. Good year or bad year, that part doesn't change.

First one we picked was Conservation Club — trees, birds, the whole outdoors deal. Made sense. You can't put a bird on a shirt and then not do a single thing for the bird. That's just bad manners.

We're already scouting the next ones. Haven't landed anywhere yet, but hey — we didn't have a plan for the store either, and look at us now.

Notes from the Counter

On being out of stock Sold out of the trucker hats again. We keep saying we'll order more before we run out. We have never once done this.

On the Mystery Bundle No, we won't tell you what's in it. That's the whole bundle. If we told you it'd just be a bundle.

On the new aisle Added a Curiosities aisle. Half the stuff in there we bought for ourselves first and then figured, eh, might as well sell a few.

Also, a Note

We've been tinkering on something separate from the store — Prosper Labs, our little incubator for ideas that don't fit in an aisle. First one out the door is called Loop, an app helping people find nonprofits worth caring about. Different thing entirely, same three of us behind it.
